1980's TEAC EQA-20 Stereo Graphic EqualizerJan 18, 2012
This was taped back in June since I didn't have my computer until it came back a month later, so I haven't made a presentation of my 1980's TEAC stereo graphic equalizer model EQA-20. It works perfectly, but it's in decent condition. I got this one from my last garage sale score back in June along with a few Disney VHS tapes. Here it is.

My now vintage stereo equipment in my living roomFeb 07, 2012
Its true. I have a difficult time parting with things and I tend to cling to the past. I tend to be a junque collector and have a hoard of stuff that clutters my home. The stereo equipment in this video is the first good stereo equipment I was able to afford at the time. I bought most of it in the 1970s and some in the early 1980s. This equipment is not what one could call top shelf or true audiophile gear that members of the fat wallet club buy but it is good- stereo equipment. I have received a lot of enjoyment from this equipment and I still do today. Amplifier= Technics SU-7300 Receiver= Technics ST-7300 Equalizer= ADC SS117EX Cassette deck= Teac V90R Reel-to-reel= Akai 1730-SS 8Track= Pioneer H-R99 Turntable= Empire 598 II
Home Stereo System So Far, Technics, Sony and Paradigm mixFeb 22, 2012
This is my setup so far I like it but it could be better: My Receiver is a Technics SA-DX1040. The Equalizer is a Technics SH-8065 33 band duel channel very fun to play with. My four main speakers could be alot better but their good for now. The Pioneers are CS-R5100's and the Technics are SB-A32's. One sony player is the BDP-CX960 the other is a DVP-CX995V. The Subwoofer is a Paradigm DSP-3200 it hits hard.

My home stereo setupApr 27, 2012
A look at my part vintage, part modern stereo system. Comprised of a late 1960's Sears AM/FM stereo receiver with phonograph, Olympic stereo 8-track tape player, second Sony receiver with equalizer and dual cassette, and a Kenwood 5-disc CD changer. Speakers are a pair of unknown (probably Sears) and a pair of large Fisher 3-way speakers.
T-QualizerMar 31, 2012
T-Qualizer is a shirt with a built in graphic equalizer panel that is sound sensitive. As the music beats, the equalizer lights up to the beat of the music. Great for concerts, raves and parties! The T-Qualizer is made from 100% cotton. It has a fully functional EL (Electro Luminenscence) panel with a battery pack that snuggles discretely into a pocket inside the shirt. The end result is an awesome sound sensitive music T-Shirt that commands attention. Each frequency of music will activate a different equalizer bar, just like the equalizer on your home stereo! Dominate the dancefloor without even trying! Requires 4 x AAA batteries (not included) The t-shirt is handwash only The battery pack must be unplugged before washing the t-shirt 100% cotton
FISHER CA-39A Integrated Stereo Amplifier Repair-Part 2Apr 13, 2012
I this video i am repairing a vintage FISHER CA-39A solid-state amplifier. After troubleshooting I replaced the hybrid amplifier IC STK4191-II (ECG1316 equiv.), a few capacitors and a two 4 amp fuses. Some dummy put a 32V 25A automotive fuse in where a AGC-4A should have been. Bad speaker and the wrong fuse causes the amp to short out. Used an ECG replacement manual to lookup the internal schematic of the chip and used the ohmmeter to find the short. I fixed the unit and it does sound very good.

Affordable Mastering for the Home StudioMay 26, 2012
In this video, I demonstrate how to use a sound editor to master a track using nothing but bundled plug-ins. Effects used include parametric EQ, multi-band compression, stereo expansion and hard limiting. These could be combined with other effects (tube compressor, very slight reverb, etc.) or used in a different order. This is just one of many ways to affordably sweeten up your tracks and get them ready for distribution.
