Summit Audio FeQ 50 4 Band Equalizer @ FrontEndAudio.comNov 28, 2011
New from Summit Audio comes the FeQ-50, a four band parametric, passive equalizer. Each of the four bands has six switch selectable frequencies and 14dB of fully sweepable cut or boost. The low and high bands can switch between peaking and shelving filters, the low mid and high mid can switch between narrow and wide bandwidths. Also included is a switchable highpass filter fixed at 30Hz with a gentle 6dB/octave rolloff to reduce rumble. I/O includes a total of four simultaneous outputs, -10dB and +4dB vacuum tube out and -10dB and +4dB solid state out. Like all of our other ½ rack sized products, the FeQ-50 has an internal power supply and 3 year warranty. The focus of the FeQ-50 from the very beginning has been the sound. Passive circuitry excels at rich harmonic content and phase coherency, resulting in a musically satisfying sonic experience. It was a challenge to fit fully passive circuitry into a box this size and at this price but we wanted to make the world of passive EQ available for anyone with an ear for quality. Although production costs can be high due to the high quality inductors needed to meet the strict tolerances necessary and the high value capacitors in the audio path, by creative and thoughtful engineering we were able to both fit the components in a ½ rack size and keep the price down. The result? A rich and accessible passive equalizer, simple yet versatile, and sure to complement your sound with a dash of flavor unlike any other.
Rupert Neve 5033 5-Band EQ @ FrontEndAudio.comMay 18, 2012
The Portico 5033 Five Band EQ and high performance line driver is a new equalizer with the performance, features and musicality expected from Rupert Neve, the designer. The 5033 features Mr. Rupert Neve's custom input and output transformer designs, five bands of EQ based on his traditional curves, -/+12dB input level adjustment, five filter bypasses and comes available in either horizontal or vertical formats. At the input and output of the 5033 lie custom designed Rupert Neve transformers, which are much of the heart of the sound of Mr Rupert Neve's classics. The EQ section can be completely bypassed and the unit can be used as a very high quality line driver utilizing these transformers, which can help to add sonic "sweetness" to a source.
Speck Electronics ASC 4 Band Equalizer @ FrontEndAudio.comMar 02, 2012
The Model ASC is a professional single channel 4 band equalizer in a 1/2 rack format. It is simple...it is useful...and it delivers the high quality and specifications found in all Speck Electronics gear. That Classic Sound - You'll hear none of the thinness and edginess experienced with some other outboard EQ devices. The Speck Model ASC is reminiscent of vintage equalizers, revered for their dynamic range and musical performance. The Front Panel - This compact 4 band parametric equalizer has 12 controls for equalization adjustment that covers the audio spectrum from a low 20Hz all the way up to 25kHz. There is a - 12/+6 dB gain control that handles the level variations when patching between balanced and unbalanced gear. A bypass switch silently removes the equalizer from the audio path. The Rear Panel - Connect the ASC to virtually any line level source: balanced, unbalanced, or mixer inserts. The Model ASC has high headroom that will handle balanced signals up to +28dBu. To enhance the classic EQ experience, the Model ASC offers balanced transformer and active balanced outputs. You are currently viewing the ASC-T which includes the transformer option. The Model ASC is best used with the MicPre 5.0 since the mic preamps already has the transformer output as standard.

Alpine 3337 7-Band Electronic Graphic Equalizer - Circa 1986May 19, 2012
This is one of the 1st electronic Alpine EQs. The dancing lights are a single line of LEDs changing from green to red as the mid point is reached. This model is a precursor to the famous Alpine 3339 11-Band Electronic Graphic Equalizer which has some of the most beautiful light displays I have ever seen which looks like lighted filaments. Modern day EQ use LCDs.
